The Steadfast Tin Soldier
This show has now finished

Hans Christian Andersens much-loved fairytale enchantingly reinvented with puppetry and live music. A one-legged tin soldier pines after a delicate paper ballerina he spots across the playroom. Longing to meet her, he breaks ranks from his barracks. A jealous jack-in-the-box plots his undoing, and a series of unlikely events unfolds, featuring a pair of love-starved rats, a clockwork monkey, a paper boat, and a mean-looking fish. Paper Finch also bring 'Beauty and the Beast' to this years festival. 'A tour de force of remarkable power and complexity' (Sheffield Telegraph).
