Inspired by the popular American television show Glee, the Denver School of the Arts takes on Shakespeare's classic tale of Romeo and his Juliet. Shakespearean text infused with contemporary music from Endless Love, to Katy Perry's Firework, to Imagine, and to Beyonce's I Was Here... The show works incredibly well with young actors portraying the roles of the lovers. This play with music and dance highlights a talented cast. A beautiful slice of the timeless tale told in one hour. Simply a must-see.
